Russian Silver Kovsh & Spoon - Russian silver kovsh and matching spoon. Each engraved ”CR” for ”Cornelia Root”. Marked along the space and stem of the spoon with the 84 zolotnik mark and rider for Moscow, also marked AK, potentially Antip Ivanovich Kuzmichev or Alexei Fyodorovich Kitovsky. Also marked ”Made For” followed an indistinct mark. Provenance: From the estate of prominent Cleveland lawyer and art collector, Frank Hadley Ginn (1868-1938) and his wife, Cornelia Root Ginn. Height: 1 in x width: 3 1/2 in x depth: 2 in. Gross weight: 48.7 g. Condition: Tarnishing and verdigris patination to the handle. Adhesive residue to the handle.
