Silver & Paste Saint-Esprit Necklace - Antique French saint-esprit silver and paste necklace comprised of nine rectangular filigree panels set with numerous paste stones, in between each panel are eight upright rectangular panels set with four pastes. The central rectangular filigree panel suspending a saint-esprit pendant of a flying dove with halo, all set with pastes. The pendant on a hidden bale, able to be removed from the necklace. The necklace terminates in two silver tear drop loops, tied with a velvet rick rack ribbon. Marked along one teardrop loop with French boar's head mark. Length (not inlcuding ribbons): 14 1/2 in. Gross weight: 28.1 g. Condition: Fraying to the ribbon, tarnishing and wear to the silver and pastes.
