Edwardian Platinum & Diamond Tassel Necklace - A fine Edwardian Art Deco platinum and pearl tassel necklace. Comprised of a suspended 12 strand pearl tassel with a platinum double crowned cap studded with numerous old cut diamonds. The tassel suspended from a central geometric and floral form platinum placard set with approximately 45 old cut diamonds. The necklace comprised of a triple strands of pearls with two stations of platinum placards of geometric design set with old diamonds. On platinum barrel clasp set with 10 rose cut diamonds. Unmarked tested platinum. Length: 16 1/2 in. Gross weight: 39.0 g. Condition: Very light wear, some minor fraying to the cord, clasp working well. Middle strand at the back clap has come detached and has been reattached with thread.
