Southwest New Mexican Chimayo Runner Rug 5'x1'6"
Southwestern, likely Chimayo, New Mexican, woven wool runner rug textile, mid-20th century. The carpet with a broad central field of solid red with interspersed bands of angular geometric motifs. Executed in wools dyed red, black, and light brown.
Length: 5 ft x width: 1 ft 6 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and deep. There are no major stains to the body of the rug. No odors. Some wear to the tassels.
