Large Japanese Meiji Cloisonne Dragon Vase - Large Japanese Meiji era cloisonne vase depicting a dragon on a deep red ground. Height: 20 1/4 in x diameter: 9 in. Condition: There is a dent to the rim which has caused cracks to the cloisonne along the interior of the upper rim; just below this along the neck there is a small point of impact with radiating cracks and a small loss; to the lower body below this there are further areas with radiating cracks to the cloisonne, likely also points of impact. Small scuffs to the body throughout. Discoloration to the metal throughout. Cracks to the cloisonne along the foot.
