Charles Schulz Original Four-Panel Comic 1985 - Charles Schulz (American, 1922-2000). Original four panel ”Peanuts” comic strip, the daily strip for Friday, February 15, 1985. Black ink over pencil on drawing board. Pen signed along the left edge of the last panel. Depicting a conversation between Marcie and Peppermint Patty taking a quiz. Inscribed in pen along the upper margin: ”Best Wishes - Charles Schulz.” Sight; height: 6 1/2 in x width: 22 1/2 in. Framed; height: 16 in x width: 32 1/2 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: The sheet is toned. There are no major visible tears, losses, or signs of restoration. There is a horizontal crease running along the center of the work, consistent with being folded in half. There are two small areas with white accretions, possibly white-out original to the artistic process. Framed under plexiglass; light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
