Vaclav Cigler ”Column” Glass Sculpture 8'5” Tall - Vaclav Cigler (Czech, b. 1929). Large abstract optical glass sculpture titled ”The Column” in the form of a towering rectilinear monolith surmounted atop a round steel base. Incised signature along the lower edge of the glass. Height: 8 ft 5 in x diameter: 19 1/2 in. Condition: Some dust and accretions that could be cleaned. There is a chip measuring approximately 1 1/2 in in length along the very top edge along one corner. Some wear to the metal base.
