Jamali Fresco Tempera Figural Painting - Jamali (Pakistani/American, b. 1944). Large mixed media fresco tempera on board portrait painting depicting two figures. With an ”Art & Peace” label affixed to the verso. Sight; height: 37 in x width: 51 1/4 in. Framed; height: 43 in x width: 56 in x depth: 2 3/4 in. Condition: The colors are bold and deep. There areas throughout the work that are missing, cracking, or flaking. It is difficult to discern the extent of the losses due to the nature of the work. The surface is somewhat fragile. Housed within a wooden frame; light wear to the frame including some chips to the gilt along the extreme edges. Not inspected out of frame.
