Kunisada/Toyokuni III "Takane no..." Kabuki Print
Utagawa Kunisada/Toyokuni III (Japanese, 1786-1865). Woodblock print diptych depicting the actors Onoe Baiko IV as Kosho Kichiza, Iwai Kumesaburo III as Yaoya Oshichi, and Sawamura Chojuro V as Gejo Osugi in the play "Takane no Kumo Yorokobi Soga" at the Nakamura theater in Edo in 1849. Number 19 of an untitled series.
Height: 10 1/4 in x width: 15 in.
Condition: The sheet is possibly trimmed and toned. Light soiling and minute losses. The work is not framed.
