Set 11 Fujiwara Yu Ceramic Sake Cups & Bottles - Fujiwara Yu (Japanese, 1932-2001). Set of six studio ceramic Bizen ware sake or guinomi cups and five sake bottles, 20th century. Each with incised ”V” form mark along the footrim. With wooden tomobako boxes. (Cups) height ranges from 1 1/2 in to 2 inches; diameter ranges from 2 in to 2 1/4 in. (Bottles) height ranges from 4 in to 4 1/2 in; diameter ranges from 2 1/2 in to 3 in. (Box) height: 4 1/2 in x width: 9 1/2 in x depth: 20 1/2 in. Condition: There are no major losses to the cups or bottles. There are small firing flaws along several of the pieces. Light wear consistent with age and use throughout including minute scuffs and light wear to the footrims. Wear to the box consistent with age and use including separation to the joints, light scuffs, and some worm holes.
