2 High Karat Gold Egyptian Pendants - Two Egyptian gold pendants, one cartouche and one scarab. The cartouche pendant on a bale and of linear form, with hieroglyphics of a bird, hand, feathers and lion (which may translate to the name Adele) and an ankh, the Egyptian symbol of life. Marked along the reverse in Arabic. The scarab pendant comprised of a gold placard inscribed with hieroglyphics along the reverse, with a round reeded bale, and a scarab affixed to the placard. The scarab's head and legs formed by gold and body is formed by stones of lapis lazuli. Marked in Arabic along the edge of the scarab. Both pendants tested as high karat gold. Chain for photography purposes only, not included with lot. (Cartouche) Length: 47.80 mm x width: 10.27 mm x depth: 4.87 mm. (Scarab) Length: 27.09 mm x width: 16.53 mm x depth: 9.20 mm. Condition: The cartouche with light scratches and some minor dents. The scarab with some light wear and scratching to the gold, the stones and other components firmly affixed.
