Carving attributed to Wilhelm Schmidt (1845-1938), a Victorian German cameo carver. famous for his pioneering work with carved opal. The carving in a modern setting of a gold cup set at and angle to a simple gold band. The setting unmarked, tested 14k. Ring size: 2 US. Gross weight: 3.0 g. Condition: The crest of the helmet and some of the wings' tips have broken off.
