Late 18th to Early 19th c. Tibetan Suri Yantra - 18th to 19th century Tibetan Suri yantra mandala drawing depicting a diagram of concentric rings with profuse inscriptions throughout, likely mantras or written incantations. Yantras are geometric diagrams used in sacred practices to aid meditation and spiritual growth. They serve as visual tools to represent divine energies and cosmic principles, guiding practitioners in focusing their thoughts and intentions to achieve higher states of consciousness and inner harmony. Sight; height: 10 in x width: 10 in. Framed; height: 19 1/2 in x width: 19 1/2 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: The colors are slightly faded; the sheet is toned. There is wear along the extreme edges of the sheet, including chipping and handling marks. There are deep creases running throughout the sheet that are consistent with folding. Some accretions along the surface of the work as well as the frame. Framed under glass; light wear and dust along the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
