Batik Painting Figure with Chicken - Batik on linen painting, illegibly signed along the lower right. Possibly Stephanie Eng (Malaysian, b. 1945). Provenance: Collected in Kuala Lumpur, 1960-65. Sight; height: 16 in x width: 22 3/4 in. Framed; height: 18 in x width: 24 in x depth: 1 1/2 in. Condition: There are no major visible tears, losses, or restorations. Light wear along the extreme edges including a small hole along the upper left corner and a small crease along the center of the left edge. Framed under glass; light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
