Early 19th c. New England Redware Ceramic Jug - Early 19th century ceramic pottery jug, possibly from Bristol County, Massachusetts, circa 1810-1830. Redware with a dark alkaline glaze. Of a bulbous, highly ovoid form with an applied arch handle extending along the upper third of the globular vessel. Height: 11 in x diameter: 9 in. Condition: There are no major cracks or repairs. Small chips to the body throughout. Some light wear to the footrim. Crazing to the glaze.
