Abstract Bronze Figural Sculpture with Plinth - Abstract bronze sculpture in the form of a young female figure, 20th century. Unsigned. With an irregular texture throughout, particularly along the rounded contours of the figure's head and chest. With a translucent base and white wooden plinth. (Not including plinth) height: 37 in x width: 14 in x depth: 9 in. Weight: 35 lbs 11 oz. (Plinth) Height: 29 in x width: 18 in x length: 30 in. Condition: Due to the nature of the material and rugged texture of the sculpture, it is difficult to discern whether the work has been damaged or not. However, there do not appear to be any major losses, scratches, breaks, or dents. Minute oxidization to the bronze throughout. Dust and debris gathered along the recessed areas. Some wear to the acrylic base; the circular bases for the bronze pegs are broken. Some of these acrylic bases are attached to the bottom of the bronze pegs rather than to the rest of the acrylic base. Some wear to the wooden plinth including scuffs and one spot of splintering along a back bottom corner.
