20th c. Don Gahr Wood ”Hawaiian Horse” Sculpture - Don Gahr (American, 20th century). Polychrome wooden folk art sculpture depicting a red horse with painted palm trees, flowers, and Hawaiian motifs, 1997. (Including stand) height: 23 in x width: 30 in x depth: 5 in. Condition: There are some natural splits and wear to the wood throughout, as expected with found wood. There are no significant losses to the pigment. There are two large splits to the underside of the base with signs of adhesive along the cracks.
