6 Small Fornasetti Decorative ”Orchestra” Plates - Fornasetti, Milan, Italy. Group of six small decorative porcelain plates in Fornasetti's ”Orchestra” pattern, ca. 1980. The plates depict painted groupings of various musical instruments on a faux bois ground. Each with Fornasetti's trademark, a hand with a paintbrush, along the underside and an inscription reading ”Fornasetti Milano”, ”Orchestra”, and ”Made in Italy; plates are numbered two through seven. (Plates, each) diameter: 3 1/4 in. (Shipping dimensions) height: 2 1/2 in x diameter: 4 in. Condition: There are no chips, cracks, losses, or restorations throughout. Some wear along the footrims including fleabite chips. There are some small firing flaws along the edges of the undersides. Minute wear to the pigment along the oboe painted onto plate five.
