French Crystal Tantalus Manner of Baccarat - French crystal and gilt bronze tantalus in the manner of Baccarat, possibly late 19th century. With three cut glass decanters, stoppers, and a wreath-topped column resting atop a mirrored tripod tray. Incised floral motifs throughout the bronze; faces carved in relief along the feet of the tray. (Overall) height: 15 in x diameter: 13 1/2 in. Condition: One crystal stopper is broken: the stem of the stopper is missing and there are large chips. Another stopper with several chips throughout. One bottle with a hole and cracks surrounding this small hole. Another bottle with small chips along the shoulder. All bottles with scratches and signs of use. There are a few chips to the crystal glass column. The column sits at a slight angle on the base. Some light scratches to the mirrored base. The mirror is slightly separated from the metal base. To the metal components throughout there is tarnishing, some accretions, and wear.
