Rathman currently lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Not limiting himself to a painter, he expands his medium to limited edition books, prints, and films. His work has been housed in numerous outstanding national art institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Walker Art Center.
