Oil on canvas portrait painting depicting an elegant woman in a red dress against an emerald green wall. Signed along the lower right. Provenance: Collection of Janet Wallace, the artist's wife; Private Minnesota Collection. Unframed; height: 32 1/4 in x width: 28 in. Framed; height: 39 1/2 in x width: 35 3/4 in x depth: 2 1/2 in. Condition: There are no major tears. There is a small spot along her neck that may be in-painting. A few small accretions throughout. There is a spiral craquelure along her left breast. Some sall areas of craquelure throughout. Some losses along the extreme edges, mainly along the lower right corner. Heavy wear to the frame.
