17th c. Chinese Bronze Buddha Head - Chinese 17th century bronze Buddha head with red ushnisha. With partial wax Chinese export seal. Height: 6 1/2 in x width: 4 3/4 in x depth: 4 1/2 in. Condition: Patination throughout. Losses to the pigment throughout; only trace amounts of gilt remain. Partial wax label, a Chinese export seal, affixed to the neck. Some debris along the interior of the head. Dust and debris collected in recessed areas throughout.
