18th-19th c. Chinese Carved Wood Seated Buddha - Chinese carved wooden seated Buddha figure, 18th-19th century. With polychrome and gilt finish. Depicted seated holding something in their hands with a serene expression. Height: 22 1/2 in x width: 15 1/2 in x depth: 13 in. Weight: 26 lbs 8 oz. Condition: There are no major chips or losses. There is a crack along the legs running the width of the figure. There is a circular crack along the small of the back. Several other smaller cracks throughout. Losses to the gilt and polychrome. Wear to stand's underside.
