Tibetan Buddhist Copper Prayer Holder with Inlay - Tibetan Buddhist copper prayer holder with inlaid stones along the lid, circa 18th to 19th century. The exterior surface is delineated into eight fields with a single character in each region. Decorated with bands of floral and insect designs in relief throughout, especially along the lid, footrim, and along the borders of each field. Height: 7 3/4 in x diameter: 3 1/2 in. Condition: All pieces are firmly attached and there are no large losses or dents. Tarnishing and patina throughout. There is a white accretion along the lid. Verdigris patination along the interior of the box. The upper lid sticks and does not come off easily. Some wear to the blue stones.
