Chinese 20th c. Polychrome Wooden Guanyin - Large Chinese 20th century polychrome carved wooden figure of a Guanyin. She stands on a platform with one hand raised. She wears ornate clothing and an elaborate headdress. Height: 46 in x width: 13 1/2 in x depth: 9 1/2 in. Weight: 35 lbs 3 oz. Condition: Cracks and splits to the wood throughout. Her raised arm has possibly been reattached. Fading to the colors. Losses to the polychrome throughout.
