19th c. Chinese Pierced Metal Handwarmer - 19th century Chinese metal handwarmer, possibly copper. With two handles, a scalloped body, and elaborately pierced lid depicting floral or arboreal motifs against a scaled background. Marked along the underside with a four-character mark. (Not including handle) Height: 4 1/4 in x diameter: 6 1/4 in. Weight: 381.7 g. Condition: Tarnishing and oxidization throughout, especially along the interior. Some wear to the upper rim from the lid rubbing against it. Some small dents along the body throughout. Wear to the footrim including some light scratches.
