20th c. Chinese Carved Jade of Boy & Rat on Gourd - 20th century Chinese carved jade in the form of a boy and rat crawling along a gourd. A second boy sits inside the gourd. Of a pale green-gray jade. There is a lovely russet inclusion running along the spine of the rat. Height: 3 in x width: 1 1/2 in x depth: 1 in. Weight: 70.4 g. Condition: No major chips or cracks. Dirt and debris accrued in the recessed areas. There is minor calcification throughout. Light wear throughout.
