Exceptional and rare Chinese Song dynasty iron and bronze mace or chui. The chui is a melee weapon traditionally used with brute force.
Literature: Nakajima Antique & Curio Shop, Kyoto, 1960s.
Length: 21 1/2 in x diameter: 2 1/2 in. Weight: 1,582.0 g.
Condition: Oxidization throughout. A few small dents or small losses along the top and bottom. Some scattered areas of high polish. No major dents, bends, or losses.
