10 PRC Fei Gonxing Seals and Seal Book
Group of ten Republic Period Chinese seals and a seal book of Fei Gonxing (Chinese, late 19th/20th century). The seal book is dated winter of 1933. A number of seals match the prints in the book. These seals were carved by the artist for his own use. The calligraphy and paintings within the book are colophons. The first inscription is signed Weiyan.
(Seals) height ranges from 1/4 in to 1 7/8 in; width ranges from 3/8 in to 1 1/4 in; depth ranges from 3/8 in to 1 1/4 in. (Book) height: 7 1/2 in x width: 4 1/4 in x depth: 5/8 in.
Condition: No evident missing pages. Wear to the cover including some holes and losses. One corner of one seal has been broken off and reattached. No other major losses or repairs to the seals. Light wear throughout all as expected with use.
