Asahel Curtis Orotone Photo of Mt. Rainier - Asahel Curtis (American, 1874-1941). One gold tone or orotone photograph depicting a forested landscape with Mt. Rainier reflected in a lake. His siblings include Edward Sheriff Curtis, a well-known photographer and ethnologist. Provenance: From the Estate of Christopher Cardozo. Sight; height: 7 3/4 in x width: 9 3/4 in. Framed; height: 9 1/4 in x width: 11 1/4 in x depth: 1/2 in. Condition: The colors are lustrous and deep. The emulsion appears smooth and unbroken. The work is housed in a wooden frame; light wear to the frame. Framed under glass. Not inspected out of frame.
