Initialed and dated along the lower right. Further initialed and signed, dated, and titled along the verso. Provenance: Purchased in 1969 for the Collection of Rev. Richard L. Hillstrom; Collection of Frank J. Indihar, M.D.; Private Minnesota Collection. Unframed; height: 40 in x width: 53 3/4 in. Framed; height: 41 in x width: 54 3/4 in x depth: 1 1/2 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. The surface is overall stable. There are no creases or tears. There are several areas of minute loss to the paint, in particular the upper and lower left quadrant. Craquelure throughout. There are several networks of spiderwebbed cracks, in particular across the central left quadrant and the lower right quadrant. There are no signs of restoration under UV light. Wear to the frame.
