20th c. Japanese Hammered Brass Tea Pot - Japanese hammered brass tea pot, ca. early 20th century, Meiji to Taisho period. Marked along the base. The upper third of the teapot decorated with a checkerboard or basketweave pattern. (Handles extended up) height: 9 1/2 in x width: 7 1/4 in x diameter: 5 3/4 in. Condition: All pieces move smoothly. There are a few small dents along the underside. Discoloration along the throughout and verdigris patination along the interior and underside.
