4 Kunisada Edo Period Woodblock Prints - Utagawa Kunisada (Japanese, 1786-1865). Group of four Edo period woodblock prints including: One titled ”Gojusan Tsugi No Uchi Okazaki Yado No Yokai” depicting a woman underneath a plaid quilt. One titled ”Poetess (Koken Meifu Den)” from the series ”Famous Women Today and in the Past” depicting a woman writing a poem on a fan. One depicting two people weaving silk. One depicting a figure in front of a landscape of a bridge over water. Height ranges from 14 1/2 in to 20 in; width ranges from 10 in to 15 3/4 in. Condition: There are visible tears. There are creases and losses throughout. All the sheets have toning, discoloration, and foxing. There are no signs of restoration under UV light. Not in frame.
