Hasui Kawase "Zenetsu Temple" Woodblock Print
Hasui Kawase (Japanese, 1883-1957). Japanese woodblock print titled "Zenetsu Temple in the Rain" depicting a temple with several figures with umbrellas moving through the rainy structure, ca. 1957-1989. With a black 7mm Watanabe publishing seal along the lower right corner. Artist's seal along the lower left.
Sight; height: 14 3/4 in x width: 10 in. Framed; height: 22 in x width: 17 1/2 in x depth: 1/2 in.
Condition: The sheet is slightly toned. There is a slight undulation throughout. There are no visible repairs, tears, losses, or creases. Housed under two non-acidic mats. Light wear to the frame; framed under glass. Not inspected out of frame.
