19th c. Wooden Indian Temple Puppet Head - 19th century Indian temple puppet head. Polychromed with yellow, black, white, and red pigment. With a decorative scarf. Height: 9 1/2 in x width: 6 in x depth: 6 1/2 in. Condition: Losses to the polychrome throughout. The right ear with a large chip. Some splits and cracks throughout. There are three nails along the headband; one of the nails with a string attached to it. Wear to the scarf.
