18th-19th c. Chinese Gilt Wooden Zhenwu
18th to 19th century Chinese gilt and lacquered wood figure of Zhenwu with a snake and tortoise at his feet. He sits in a vibrant red chair.
Height: 8 3/4 in x width: 4 1/4 in x depth: 3 1/2 in.
Condition: There is a loss to the tip of his raised finger and the left spindle of his chair. Losses to the pigment throughout. Some cupping/flaking to the remaining pigment. Wear throughout consistent with age and display
