18th-19th c. Chinese Gilt Wooden Guanyin - 18th to 19th c. Chinese gilt, lacquered, and polychromed wooden figure of Nanhai Guanyin of the southern seas with a vial and parrot. Height: 12 1/2 in x width: 7 in x depth: 4 1/2 in. Condition: No major chips, cracks, or losses to the wood. Heavy losses to the painted decoration. Flaking and cupping to the remaining pigment. Wear throughout as expected from age and use.
