Depicting a scene in Nantucket, possibly a structure called Target House, 1946. Pencil inscription along the verso with subjects and date. Ink stamp along the verso. Reference: PJM 11205. Provenance: Estate of Paul Cadmus; The collection of Jon Anderson; Private Minnesota collection. Height: 4 3/8 in x width: 6 5/8 in. Condition: The emulsion is smooth with no breaks. There are a few creases throughout, visible at a critical angle. Light wear along the edges. Along the verso there are a few spots of foxing. There are four spots in either corner with residual adhesive and paper. The work is mounted in a mat with four plastic corner tabs. Housed between two non-acidic mats. Not framed.
