2 Tapio for Rosenthal White Ceramic Bag Vases - Tapio Wirkkala (Finnish, 1915-1985) for Rosenthal, Germany. Group of two ceramic porcelain vases in the form of trompe l'oeil paper bags. With a gloss white glaze. Each marked along the underside. Originally produced in 1977. (Larger) Height: 7 1/4 in x width: 4 3/4 in x depth: 3 in. (Smaller) Height: 6 in x width: 4 in x depth: 2 1/2 in. Condition: There are no chips, cracks, or losses. There are 8 felt tabs affixed to the bottom of the large item and 4 felt tabs affixed to the bottom of the small item. No signs of restoration.
