Porcelain Brushpot Style of Wang Bing Rong - Style of Wang Bing Rong (Chinese, 1820-1875). Pale lime green bisque glazed brush pot with a carved landscape. Stamped along the underside Wang Bing Rong Zuo (Wang Bing Rong Made). Wang Bing Rong was a notable potter specializing in porcelain with carved decoration, almost like ivory carvings, active in the Tongzhi to Guangxu periods (1862-1908). Height: 5 1/2 in x diameter: 3 1/2 in Condition: There are no visible cracks, losses, or chips. There are minute firing flaws throughout that are original to the item. The underside has wear, consistent with age and use. There are no signs of restoration under UV light.
