Pair of Modern Chinese Cloisonne Vases - Pair of gu-form modern Chinese cloisonne vases decorated with fish swimming underwater. The trumpet-form necks decorated with mythical creatures among scrollwork. Provenance: Hindman's, Sale 887, June 24, 2021, Lot 337; Private Minnesota Collection. Height: 18 1/4 in x diameter: 7 in. Condition: To one of the vases there is a small repair with wax, discolored sightly yellow, along the shoulder. No other repairs, dents, or losses. Discoloration to the metal components. Dirt/dust collected along the interior of the vases. Light wear along the footrims.
