Walter Crackle Haida Moon Crest Painted Box - Walter Crackle (Salish, b. 1962). Wooden box or cabinet decorated with a painting depicting a Haida moon crest inset with mother-of-pearl, 1999. Crackle learned the coastal style from renowned carver George Storry. The cabinet was constructed by Ted Parsons. Inscribed information along the underside of the box.
