Lyle Sopel Jade Frog w/ Mushrooms & Crystal Quartz - Lyle Sopel (Canadian, b. 1951). Sculptural composition depicting a jade frog sitting atop a jade mushroom amid a crystal quartz structure. Two further jade mushrooms embellish the scene. Signed and numbered G230 along the base. Height: 9 1/2 in x width: 12 in x depth: 5 in. Condition: No major breaks or losses to the jade figures. All pieces are firmly attached. Due to the nature of the natural quartz formation it is impossible to tell if there are losses to the crystals since the sculpture was created. There are natural lines, small losses, and irregularities throughout. Some dust collected in the recessed areas throughout.
