Chinese Carved Nephrite Russet & Green Zither - A large Chinese carved nephrite jade zither. With a dark green and russet coloration throughout. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. Length: 12 in x width: 2 in x depth: 1/2 in. Weight: 326.30 grams. Condition: No major cracks, losses, or restorations. Natural unevenness to the stone, consistent with hand-tooling. Some minute chips along the extreme edges. Wear throughout consistent with age and use.
