Chinese Archaic Jade Carved Pendant Blade - Chinese archaic carved jade pendant blade or axe head. Of a dark russet jade with curved form. Tooling, material, and form all support an early pre-Ming date. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. Length: 3 in x width: 1 in. Weight: 18.73 grams. Condition: Natural pits to the stone throughout. Some very minute chips along the extreme edges. Wear throughout consistent with age and use.
