2 Chinese Carved White Jade Rings or Bi - Group of two Chinese carved jade rings of bi. Both well-carved and polished. One with gold-plated mounting. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. Each, diameter: 2 1/4 in. Length of gold chain: 23 in. Length of brown cord: 30 in. Weight of jade with gold chain, including chain: 28.31 grams. Weight of jade with brown cord, including cord: 15.25 grams. Condition: No major chips, cracks, or losses. Some light pitting to the gold-mounted jade. Very light wear throughout both jades. The clasp of the gold-plated chain works.
