Archaic Chinese Carved Jade Bi - Likely archaic large Chinese carved jadeite bi. One side with knobs in neat rows and the other with C-form curls. Of an opaque gray, black, and pale russet coloration. Polish, form, and patina all strongly suggest archaic dating. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. Diameter: 5 1/2 in x depth: 1/2 in. Weight: 396.2 grams. Condition: Wear throughout. Several areas with likely losses that have been polished smooth; visible in the lot listing. No other cracks or notable issues.
