Chinese Jade Seal Form Ring - Chinese jade seal form ring showing a thick russet skin and retaining an old export seal. Material and carving strongly suggest mid-20th century date. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. Height: 1 1/4 in x width: 1 1/2 in x depth: 1 1/4 in. Interior diameter: 1 13/16 in. Weight: 45.02 grams. Condition: Pitting and light wear throughout. No noticeable cracks, major chips, losses, or restorations. Pigment loss to the export seal. A few minute chips along the extreme edges, only noticeable upon close inspection.
