Chinese Pale Jade Boy Carving - Chinese pale and russet jade carving depicting a boy. Well carved and polished to highlight the varied nature of the stone. Excellent polish and carving point to an 18th century date. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. (Not including stand) Height: 2 in x width: 1 1/4 in x depth: 1/2 in. Weight: 24.13 grams. Condition: No major chips, cracks, losses, or restorations. Light wear throughout. Some adhesive residue along the underside from tack used to display the jade. Light wear to the stand.
