Pair of Chinese Pale or White Jade Seals - Pair of 19th century Chinese pale or white jade seals mounted as necklaces or pendants. Lovely quality of jade with one being white. One seal blank. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. (Seal with floral carving) Height: 1 in x diameter: 1/4 in. Weight: 10.16 grams. (Seal with animal carving) Height: 3/4 in x diameter: 3/4 in. .Weight: 12.10 grams. Condition: No major losses, cracks, or restorations. Some extremely minute chips along the edges; only noticeable upon touch or very close inspection. Some light wear where the metal components rub against the jade. Some dirt accumulated in the recessed areas of the work.
